moon

cool fire light,
burning tiger bright,
in the hot summer sky,
circling over to draw me nigh.
moon of July luminous orb,
your gravity the seas absorb.
You call the insanity of love,
from your orbit above,
I surrender to you, at will,
will you bring her still?
pull me to her now,
Oh moon, let love be somehow!
under your hue and shadow,
we shall love in flowered meadow...
until the stars twinkle and pass away
and night turns dark to day.
we shall love in every way,
until the moon again has sway.
come my love to me,
let us join and be.
